Who is Cherry Hunter?

Cherry Hunter is a brand-new character to the Streets of Rage series. She uses a guitar to rock the stage and the enemies around her. Cherry was announced this week at Gamescom.

Like the other fighters in Streets of Rage, Cherry is a brawler, but she’s not afraid to use some musical attacks when need-be. In a way, she’s kind of like I-No from the Guilty Gear series.

The promotional art for Streets of Rage 4 still includes a mysterious silhouette, which suggests another character has yet to be announced. Hopefully more details will be revealed soon.In the meantime, you can read IGN’s Streets of Rage 4 preview here.

Streets of Rage 4 does not yet have a release date, but when it does come out, it will be for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Streets of Rage 4 is developed by Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap developer Lizardcube and publisher Dotemu.
